Manufacturers, who are responsible for financing the collection, recycling and reuse of covered devices, may create their own collection program or pay into the state’s e-waste program. All manufacturers pay a $5,000 annual registration fee. Must disclose if covered devices exceed RoHS standards. No fee for consumers and public/private schools. Covers TVs, monitors, personal computers and laptops.
