Details

Manufacturers must register with EPA and disclose whether products are RoHS compliant. Requires manufacturers to finance and establish e-waste collection facilities. No fee to consumers. Covers monitors, computers, laptops, printers and TVs. Manufacturers may also collect (and count toward annual recycling goals): mobile phones, computer cable, keyboards and mice, stand alone fax machines, MP3 players, PDAs, video game consoles, video cassette recorders/players, portable video players, zip drives and scanners.
